We are a Colorado-based, woman-owned business that is environmentally conscious by working through the cloud for software, applications, communications, and document storage. We are a remote business operation that produces all of our electricity through a stand-alone solar power system which allows us to maintain a very low carbon footprint.
We are now serving a limited number of small businesses with exemplary Bookkeeping, Accounting, Tax, and Consulting services based on the knowledge and experience gained during 30+ years work in bookkeeping, public accounting, tax preparation, auditing, and consulting.

I’m Kim Armes, Owner, Founder, and Senior Accountant and Consultant at Propel Accounting & Consulting.
I graduated with honors from the University of Northern Colorado with a 0Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting and was active as a licensed CPA from 2000 to 2013.
I left Certified Public Accounting in 2013 to work in business and personal success advisory services. My Colorado CPA license expired November of 2013 as listed on the Colorado Division of Professions and Occupations license search. After the career shift, my understanding that Accounting is a foundational component of business and personal success was reinforced.
After 8 years of providing business and personal success services, I returned to Accounting as the Accounting Manager for a small CPA firm. That firm merged with a medium-sized Accounting and Advisory firm within 7 months. During the 13 months of my employment, I came to realize that it is an extreme challenge for small businesses to find competent, timely, and accurate Bookkeeping, Accounting, Tax and Consulting services providers. My experience with these firms motivated me to resign my position and start Propel Accounting & Consulting.
